Adventure Boy 2 has been desperate to lose his milk teeth. I have been a bit worried myself in fact. Six and a half and all his milk teeth stuck solid, his friends with at least four missing! Last week however I noticed some movement with his bottom two and he kept looking in the mirror to give them a little wiggle. Then on Halloween, whilst ducking apples at a friend's party the first came out. Real blood on Halloween! We had to search in the bowl for his tooth. He was over the moon, everyone fussed over him and I was saddened as I cuddled him - my baby growing up! Not content with one lost tooth, he insisted on munching on the fruit and there in the blood stained apple we found tooth no. 2.
Witches, ghosts and the tooth fairy all on the same night! I wonder if it's allowed?

Very dramatic! (But don't worry about him being 'behind' in the tooth department - the later, the better according to a dentist friend of mine.)

Hi - thanks for visiting my blog. This post reminded me that my daughter didn't lose a single milk tooth until she was 7½. Even now, she has lost few, and her younger brother is catching her up.Take care :-)

I was the last to lose a tooth in my class too, never forgotten it! The pride when I finally had a toothy gap to show off and a shiny 10p from the tooth fairy. How much do you leave nowadays? We're some years from this momentous event and I fear with inflation it's going to be a note rather than a coin...Just been onto your web page, fantastic clothing, what a find. We'll definitely be investing. From one outdoorsy family to another (should I yell 'to infinity and beyond here?')MH

Right from the start of your post I have had a huge smile on my face. Amy used to absolutely LOVE the Topsy Tim stories and this has brought back beautiful memories for me. Thank you.CJ xx

A perfect memory for Hallowe'en, how are you going to follow that up next year? My son had a complete tantrum when the tooth fairy only left a point coin on her first visit (he was only 4 years old). A difficult time for all of us, until we realised that he'd been told the fairy was supposed to leave a whole treasure chest under the pillow. The next time, she left 10p in coppers and he was ecstatic. Ah, happy days.

It's a £1 in North Yorks too but I think we're coming to the end of that particular gold mine. High Halloween drama!
